Come una scheda SIM inattiva ha creato il caos nella vita di Rajat Patidar.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar recently found himself in the middle of an hilarious drama that spiralled into a cricketing comedy. It all started with something as ordinary as a telecom policy. Rajat Patidar, the man who captained RCB to their maiden IPL trophy earlier this year, had an old mobile number that sat unused for over three months. The service provider followed protocol as he deactivated it and sold it again.
Hilarious sim drama for Rajat Patidar
The new owner was a teenager named Manish from Gariaband, Chhattisgarh. He popped in a new Reliance Jio SIM in June, activated it, and noticed the WhatsApp display picture was of… wait, wasn’t that Rajat Patidar?
According to a report by NDTV, Manish didn’t have long to wonder. Within days, the phone was lighting up with calls not from friends, but from cricket royalty. Virat Kohli. AB de Villiers. They were trying to reach Patidar, completely unaware the number had changed hands.
At first, Manish and his friend Khemraj thought it was hilarious. They joked about it, assuming the calls were some prank. Eventually, Patidar himself got hold of the number and called. He explained who he was and why the number mattered. It connected him to coaches, teammates, and important contacts.
“I’m MS Dhoni”
The teenagers, still unconvinced, decided to have some fun. “And we’re MS Dhoni,” they replied, brushing off the call.
That’s when Patidar, now clearly done with the jokes, said, “Okay, I’ll send the cops.” Ten minutes later, local police showed up at Manish’s doorstep. Once they realised it wasn’t a prank, Manish and Khemraj handed over the SIM without fuss. A bizarre story indeed.
