Le stagioni DPL due hanno visto nuovi campioni.

The 2025 edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) commenced on August 2 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. After a successful inaugural season, two news teams added to the juggernaut. Fantastically, new champions have been crowned, with Nitish Rana’s West Delhi Lions clinching the trophy.

The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) was a little late to the party, but they are on board now. It was just last year that DPL came into existence. One would have expected that the nation’s capital would be one of the first to adapt, but that didn’t happen until last year. Now, they are perhaps the best among all the franchise tournamens.

The DPL launched in 2024, and names like Ishant Sharma, Ayush Badoni, Rishabh Pant, and Harshit Rana participated. Priyansh Arya, one of the breakthrough performers of IPL 2025, broke onto the scene during the DPL. At DPL 2025, the likes of Money Grewal, Anirudh Chowdhary, Ayush Doseja and Yugal Saini broke out.

Delhi Premier League winners list

The East Delhi Riders were the best-performing team last year. They lost just 2 group stage matches and then went on to win. However, this year, West Delhi Lions, who finished at the bottom, are the new champions! Nitish Rana is the reason!
