Rishabh Pant si sta godendo i suoi tempi di inattività dopo la serie Inghilterra mentre continua a riprendersi da un infortunio.

Rishabh Pant is inching closer to a return to competitive action. India’s star wicketkeeper suffered a nasty fracture in the India vs England series last month. The 27-year-old has finally had his cast off and is enjoying his time off before a return for the India vs West Indies Tests.

‘What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger’ – Rishabh Pant eyes comeback

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Rishabh Pant confirmed he was getting closer to full fitness. Pant was hit on his foot in the Manchester Test, batting through pain in the first innings. He subsequently did not play in the rest of the Anderson Tendulkar Trophy. The 27-year-old wore a moon boot as his healing continued.

Pant has now confirmed that the cast is out. India’s test vice-captain posted a picture of him on a secluded beach, enjoying his downtime. The left-hand who survived a horrific car crash to make a comeback, promised his fans that the ‘injury only made him stronger’.

When will Rishabh Pant return to action?

Pant is not part of India’s limited overs plans at the moment. The left-hander however will slot back into the Test team. India’s next assignment is a home series against the West Indies starting in October. Pant will hope to be 100% fit by the time with crucial World Test Championship points on the offer.

Pant scored 479 runs in 7 innings in England, with 3 centuries. The left-hander averaged 68.43 on the tour, his first since being announced as vice-captain.
