L’India Women’s Tour in Inghilterra inizia dal 28 giugno, con Trent Bridge che ospita il primo dei cinque T20I.

It’s been more than a month since we saw the Indian women’s team in action. They last played and won the Sri Lanka Women’s Tri-Nation series final on May 11 before enjoying a break and some practice sessions at the BCCI’s CoE. Now, a new tour beckons as India travels to England for a white-ball series, for which the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side has landed in London!

Watch: Upbeat India women’s team reaches UK

The team boarded for a flight from Mumbai airport and landed in London on Thursday, June 19. The Women in Blue looked in an upbeat mood, with players giggling their way into the lounge and catching up in a jubilant mood. For many, this would be the first tour of England.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will be playing five T20 internationals followed by three one-day internationals. While the opening T20I is on June 28, the first 50-over game will be played on July 16. The series will definitely hold a massive significance, with the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 starting from September 30. Meanwhile, the five T20Is will tell us how things stand in the shortest format as well, after the ICC also revealed the schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. It will be entirely played in England, meaning India will have a golden opportunity to assess the conditions.
