Con Rohit Sharma nominato “Face of the League”, la T20 Mumbai League ha ricevuto una nuova spinta di credibilità e glamour.
The buzz is back in Mumbai as the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officially revealed the icon players for all eight franchises ahead of the third season of the T20 Mumbai League 2025, which kicks off from May 26 to June 8. In a high-profile unveiling on Friday, Indian internationals Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer headlined the list of marquee signings, representing Triumph Knights Mumbai North East and SoBo Mumbai Falcons, respectively.
Meanwhile, Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan were amongst the icon players as well. The duo are missing from the IPL 2025, as they went unsold at the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah last year. Each team has signed one icon player for a fixed purse of ₹20 lakh, forming the nucleus around which the rest of the squad will be constructed at the mega auction scheduled for May 7 in Mumbai.
