IPL 2025, SRH vs PBKS: 141 di Abhishek Sharma di 55 palle sembra essere il suo primo nella Premier League indiana.

Coming into the SRH vs PBKS match on Saturday, Hyderabad batters had a lot of concerns regarding their batting. But then, Abhishek Sharma, who had just scored 51 runs in 5 matches until now in IPL 2025, bulldozed his way to a 40-ball ton, as his team looked in control to chase down 246.

Abhishek Sharma Leads Highest-Score List

The opener smashed his way to 141 from just 55 deliveries, including 14 fours and 10 sixes, just murdering PBKS bowlers on the day. What is even more remarkable is the fact, that is now the highest ever score by an Indian in the history of IPL, surpassing KL Rahul’s 132 in the 2022 edition. Meanwhile, this is also his first ton in the league.

Youngster Plays Innings of a Lifetime

What came as another relief for the SRH team was, Travis Head came back to form after a couple of flops, and scored 66 from just 37 deliveries, and strung a partnership of 171 with his fellow opener, in just 12.2 overs. That made the rest of the chase easy for the batters to follow.

On the other hand, PBKS would rue their missed chance, when they nearly got Abhishek Sharma out for 28, but was caught on a no-ball. Now, Abhishek has 176 runs in 6 matches for his side, and his numbers have drastically improved. He averages 33.20 and with a strike-rate of 200.
